FORT LAUDERDALE TECH MEETUP
The meetup was founded in January of 2023 as a monthly in-person gathering for startups, investors and tech leaders, opening a space for networking and community building at a local level. It has been the fastest growing tech community in South Florida, having hosted over 5,000 guests in attendance since it’s launch.

THE FOUNDER, JULIA LUCIDI
Julia Lucidi is the founder of the Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup, one of South Florida’s fastest-growing tech communities bringing together more than 5,000 founders, investors, and tech leaders in just three years. With 15 years of experience building innovation ecosystems globally—including with Endeavor Brazil, the Global Entrepreneurship Network, Coca-Cola, and the Cambridge Innovation Center—she has a proven track record of launching and scaling high-impact communities that connect entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders. She also hosts the Founder Tactics Podcast, a show that explores the real stories behind building companies and the strategic role community plays in long-term success.
