ABOUT OUR COMMUNITY
We're more than an event, we're a community for startups, investors and tech leaders.
The Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup was founded in January of 2023 as a monthly in-person gathering for startups, investors and tech leaders, opening a space for networking and community building at a local level. Since then, the meetup has been the fastest growing tech community in South Florida, having hosted over 4,000 guests in attendance since our launch, partnering with global brands such as Delta, Tesla, Vultr and Dell.
Regular guests include top industry leaders, tech entrepreneurs, investors, and out of town professionals looking to engage with the Florida market. The meetup has been a strategic link across the Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach innovation communities, establishing a vibrant tech community in our backyard.
According to the Global Startup Ecosystem Report, the world’s leading tech ecosystems thrive due to the density of community building events, such as tech meetups. The Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup exists with the goal of contributing to the advancement of the local tech community through educational content and connectivity.

Our guest include top tech industry leaders, startups, investors , world-class partners and speakers.
We also welcome professionals who interested in transition into the tech industry.
This is a great time to practice your pitch, find a partner, investors, employees, a new mentor or a job.
The objective is to gather everyone in tech to network, in a casual environment and support each other's work.

You can expect to be greeted on the ground floor by our team, and asked for your name and Eventbrite registration.
Once in the venue, you’ll be invited to make a name tag and register for our Live Directory as well as any giveaways being promoted that night.
There is a light agenda with a 5-10 minute welcome on the microphone by the event host and any sponsors of the night, otherwise the night is focused on networking and casual conversation.
Towards 7:00 PM any additional content will take place, depending on the schedule (this could mean a short panel, giveaways or startup pitches). Please visit our Eventbrite page for a more detailed agenda, as it changes every month.
The bulk of the evening consists of networking with smart, friendly people who come from all around town (and out of town) to attend the meetup.
The bar serves an assortment of drinks and coffee, as well as a fantastic food menu.
