The Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup was founded in 2023 as a gathering for startups, investors, and operators.

It's grown into one of South Florida's fastest-growing tech communities — having hosted over 6,000 guests, averaging 150 attendees per event and 50% new faces each month. Every meetup guests experience on stage interviews with founders and early-stage investors shaping the future of tech, including startups invested by Mark Cuban Companies and Reddit’s co-founder Alexis Ohanian, as well as funds like Deepwork Capital and Fuel VC.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Our guest include startups, investors, people building in tech, and multiple world-class partners and speakers.

    We also welcome people who interested and curious about the latest trends in the tech industry.

    This is a great time to practice your pitch, find a partner, investors, employees, a new mentor or advisor.

    The objective is to gather everyone in tech to network, in an ego-free environment and support each other's work.

  • You can expect to be greeted on the ground floor by our team, and asked for your name and registration.

    Once in the venue, you’ll be invited to make a name tag and register for our Networking App so you can scan the room for the best connection.

    There is a light agenda with a 5-10 minute welcome on the microphone by the event host and any sponsors of the night.

    Towards 7:00 PM any additional content will take place, depending on the schedule (this could mean a short panel, founder interviews or startup pitches). Please visit our registration page for a more detailed agenda, as it changes every month.

    The evening consists of networking with smart, friendly people who come from all around town (and out of town) to attend the meetup.

  • We charge a small fee to ensure an intentional, high-quality crowd and curated speakers. Light refreshments included.

  • The Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup started in January 2023 with an astounding 120 guests the very first edition, consistently hosting 200+ guests per event through it’s first year, placing it at the fastest growing tech meetup in South Florida.

  • First of all, we believe in the power of community and live to tell those stories on our podcast.

    Inspired by the power of community, our team decided to launch the Fort Lauderdale Tech Meetup fostering an in person tech community in Broward County.

    Our mission is to help people leverage the power of community when it comes to reaching their business goals and purpose in life — be it through meetups & great podcast interviews.
